ABOUT ME

I'm fun and friendly and love meeting people. I work hard at what I do, but know how to have fun too, and have loads of different and very varied interests - from running, sailing and scuba diving, to yoga, reading, and studying.

PHILOSOPHY

To be a good person, to treat others as I'd like to be treated and to make the most out of life... which includes seeing as much of the world as possible, and experiencing as many different cultures and philosophies as I can along the way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've both lived and travelled abroad and so many kind people have helped me out along on my travels, its good to be able to pay something back! Am happy also to meet up or just give good ideas on where the best places are to go.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I'm loving every minute of it. I've hosted 2 people so far and haven't surfed yet. I also met some lovely people recently in my travels to Amsterdam through CS.

Centres d'intérêt

Running, swimming, reading, creative writing, yoga, sailing, scuba diving, music and learning new things - at the moment I'm learning to do the Salsa, and to cook Thai food (neither of which I'd recommend just yet!)

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music - I like most things except heavy metal or hard core rock. Books - my favourite book this year is The Kite Runner, although The Lovely Bones and some less main stream books are top favourites too... Movies I enjoy either make me laugh or make me think. I really enjoyed Crash with Sandra Bullock, and The Constant Gardener.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I travelled Australia and New Zealand alone and my top highlights were swimming with wild dolphins and doing a 14k foot skydive - mainly because my biggest phobias were of heights and swimming in the sea!

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I think its possible to learn from every situation and every person you meet. I believe people meet for a reason. I'd love to have an opportunity to learn something new from someone - be it practicing Spanish to something completely new, and hopefully be able to give the same opportunities back.
