ABOUT ME

I, though I should say, my husband and I do science and love to live and be alive. we love food, both the eating and the cooking. We love to cook up a storm for our friends, well lubricated with beer and wine. We also care deeply about our planet and those on it, regardless of how many legs they walk on, or not. We're intensely curious about people and other ways of thinking and being.

PHILOSOPHY

live and let live, as long as you don't infringe on someone else's life (and no, their not liking how you live doesn't count as infringement, that's just bigotry)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about this on NPR, and wanted to check it out. Once i have a better idea, I'll be open to doing more. First, though, we need a couple of couch surfing experiences under our belts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've hosted students before who've needed crash space. I've guessing about 5-6 times. I also organize academic workshops for grad students. In this scenario, I co-opt the whole department and make all the other grad students host visiting students. it's turned our pretty goof.
