HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to everybody feel welcome in my hometown. Places are not only impressive because of the site seeings but because the people you meet and have fun with!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience I had when I was about 14 years old. I traveled alone for the first time ever and I stayed two weeks in a italian family. We didn´t know each other at all before that and I hardly spoke italian. At first I was afraid but they were so generous and loving, working hard to communicate with me. Now they are MY italian family!
I experienced that several times more. Me a stranger was welcomed open-hearted even though they did´t have to even bother dealing with me. I loved it and I´d love to give that kind of experience to others as well.

I am always open to experience new things!
When I am in a place new I´m interested in the history, the change, the smell, what people are like, their food, their clothes, their religion, their ways to spend their free time, the surrounding, the animals, the plants, all the little things. Rather, what I am not interested in is rushing around to tick off "been there done that things" from a list.
