Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To earn my laugh line wrinkles that I'll have when I'm old.
ABOUT ME
Figuring out my next steps in life in a pretty cool beach town. Currently I'm working in a non-profit geared toward getting mentors for kids, running, and volunteering at an outdoor center where occasionally they let me come kayaking. I'm a vegetarian (not a real one since I do eat fish occasionally... yay sushi!) but I have no problem with your eating habits as long as you don't try to tempt me with a chicken wing. Those things are delicious.
PHILOSOPHY
"Ubuntu". Just means that I am a person by and because you are; we're all connected. I like this.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host surfers and live vicariously through them. I'll be the surfer someday (soon, hopefully).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It's been great so far. Love it!
Interests
I like laughing, sunshine, green tea and baseball games (Deeeetroit Tigers!), trying new foods and going out to eat. I also like bonfires and being able to get away from city lights enough to see every single star. I like the beach, the mountains, live oak trees, kayaking, and exploring the art of cooking. I like camping, hiking, road trips, festivals, anything with avacado, wandering, and kicking so much ass in Connect Four and other board games. And life. Life is good.

Music, Movies, and Books
All time top 3 movies: Princess Bride, High Fidelity, Big Fish. Lots more after that depending on the mood.
Love music. Brett Dennen is currently my favorite. Live music is good too. Jazz, rock, blues, bluegrass, whatever.
As for books, I've got a slight addiction to used bookstores and Amazon and have a pile of books just waiting for me to love all over them. Always looking for a good recommendation too, so let me have it.
Teach, Learn, Share
If I'm available, I can share my reciprocal pass with you. It's a pass I get for volunteering at this plantation, and gets myself and one guest free entrance into a lot of the "touristy" stuff around town - the aquarium, some boats, Patriot's Point, all the plantations, a lot of museums, etc. Could be fun.
