About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Our mission is to meet as many people as possible and make lots of new friends!
ABOUT ME
We are a married couple of seven years with four little ones ages 4,3,2, and 6 months. We love to travel and live abroad, and we also love having guests in our home! Being outdoors is our next favorite thing to travelling, so Colorado is the perfect place for us.
PHILOSOPHY
Love God, Love People.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My favorite couch surfing experience was staying with a Tswana family in Thabazimbi, South Africa. They didn't speak a work of English, and we spoke no Setswana. We were the first white people in their home, and they were sure my long hair was a weave! They danced and sang for us and fed us egg and tomato sandwiches for breakfast. It was an amazing week!
Interests
Kenneth: mountain biking, snowboarding, playing with my kids, loving my wife, living in community, loving God.
Kristi: working out, at the present time Vegan cooking, foraging for edible fruits and vegetables, the mountains, hiking/biking/running, my family, living in community, loving God.

Music, Movies, and Books
Just a few faves...
Music: Bob Marley and Matisyahu
Movies: most Owen Wilson and Will Ferrell movies
Books: The Irresistible Revolution by Shane Claiborne and the Bible
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Kenneth: Where to start? Paragliding off the Alps was pretty cool...falling down the mountain, not so cool.
Kristi: Having our baby at home without assistance was awesome, but the best part was watching my husband deliver him. I love my midwife-husband :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Kenneth: Frisbee golf techniques, the history of Liberia and it's quest for peace, how to mountain bike across Colorado with a broken arm, work-out routines for the want-to-be gym enthusiast, and last but not least, how to deliver a baby.
Kristi: how to catch a snake without getting bitten, how to entertain four toddlers on a rainy day, how to identify wild fruits and vegetables, how to make a mean miso soup, and how to birth a baby.
