ABOUT ME

Jessica - I've previously studied in Costa Rica and Ghana and now I just got back from a year of teaching English in Spain. I loved teaching and I loved Spain. My degree was in journalism and biology.

Andy - I studied in Oviedo in Asturias, Spain in 2006. I had an amazing time studying Castillian Spanish and the culture of Asturias over six months time. After graduating with majors in Spanish and International Studies, I knew that I really wanted to see more of the world and continue to improve my spanish speaking skills, so I'm very excited to get to know a new part of Spain, and everything it has in store for us.

PHILOSOPHY

Reach out and enjoy life, or else what are we doing here? Meeting new people and seeing new places always fits into this perspective and we have always enjoyed the results.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have recently settled in Portland, Oregon and we'd love to meet fellow couch surfers because they are always interesting. We have have a small one bedroom apartment but we are always excited to meet new people and help out fellow travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have surfed only a handful of couches but each time has been a wonderful and exciting experience!
