Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I met CS in a magazine's story. Immediately, I identified myself with the spirit and philosophy of the project.
Couch Surfing helped me a lot in São Paulo - where I'm living since 2013 - and in Madrid, where I lived in 2015. I've made some many good friends because of CS, every day I love more and more this amazing project!
One thing I really like about CS is their philosophy of hospitality and generosity, and the possibility of trying other ways of tourism.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I began my CS experience in 2011, in Manaus. It was incredible, because i could do things that only people who lives in the city does. And Nara, my hostess, was very generous and nice with me. After that, i hosted Hugo, a boy from SP, in my place. Excellent experience, we talked a lot in short three days and quickly became closer each other. And i had many others good experiences in CS since there - not only hosting people, but going to the CS meetings as well. The best thing about CS in my opinion is the idea of being open to relate with strange people, and show a little part of your privacy. This is great, especially nowadays.
