ABOUT ME

I'm a 30 year old girl from Belgium who likes to learn a little more about other cultures. I can be a little bit quiet in the beginning but as soon as I know someone better this changes a lot. I really enjoy a good conversation, a drink in a cosy place, nice day trips, read a good book. I love to dance as well whenever there is good music, especially Carribean music. I don't like very crowded, noisy places, though.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was introduced to Couchsurfing by my ex-boyfriend Olivier (we're still very good friends). He has been a couchsurfer for over 4 years and through him we hosted many people at our place from all over the world.

Interests

City trips, reading, learning languages, dancing (I am doing a Tango course at the moment), good movies and especially series on DVD, hiking and spending some time outdoor in general.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies that I like : Seven, Forrest Gump, Requiem For A Dream, Atonement, Pride and Prejudice, Cast Away, Catch Me If You Can, ... I really like watching series on DVD as well : my favourites are Six Feet Under, Sex and the City, Medium, Gilmore Girls, Nip/Tuck and Grey's Anatomy.

Music that I like : Carribean music, Joss Stone, Lily Allen, Daan, Hooverphonic, U2, R.E.M., music from the 80's and also some of the better alternative music such as Sabaton and Nightwish.

Books that I like : I prefer thrillers. I like the books by Patricia Cornwell, John Grisham and currently I'm really into the books of Karin Fossum. Also love the Harry Potter books.
