Figure out what I want to do with my life and see the world, not necessarily in that order.

ABOUT ME

I work as a tour guide at the Underground Tour. This gives me a flexible schedule (super busy during the summer, slow during the winter), that's allowed me to travel a bit. My biggest fear in life is that I will eventually have to grow up and get a real job. I try not to take life too seriously. I'm a Seattle native and I love this city and love showing it off. I live with my girlfriend, Terrilyn, and her cat, Juliet. I love good beer, but I'm much more inclined to have a couple of beers and a good conversation than to get drunk and/or go clubbing.

I want to start hosting again. As you can see by my reply rate, I haven't been participating much recently.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed a bit in Europe in '09. When I got home, I hosted at my parents' pretty much nonstop for most of the summer. Then I fell in love, stopped coming home much, and stopped hosting. Now I live with my girlfriend and I think our apartment is finally ready for surfers.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I read voraciously, mostly nonfiction and science fiction/fantasy. I don't watch as many movies as I used to, but I have pretty broad tastes. I play a little guitar and would love to play more, so let me know if you're traveling with instruments and want to play.

Machu Picchu. Hiking in Yosemite. The green flash on the Washington Coast. Campfire singalongs on beaches in Southeast Asia with people from all over the world. Sunrise at Angkor Wat. Seattle at sunset from Gasworks Park.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I am really interested in learning about the world, global society and different cultures. This sounds really broad, I know, but my favorite thing to learn and share with couchsurfers is different opinions and perspectives on how the world works and should work.
