Travelling across Australia as part of an expedition to break a world record!

ABOUT ME

[ I am currently in Urulu, Australia, right now I am the Sound Engineer / Camp hand for an expedition which is trying to break the world record for fastest time across Australia! I have taken part in another expedition a couple of years ago, in which I supported a Paraplegic adventurer travel from Berlin to the Black Sea using a handcycle, kayak and a parajet! ]

Having been at University for the past 4 years, I have been fortunate enough to meet people from all corners of the world. From Thailand, to Austria, to Barbados, I have been able to stay with local familys and experience the lifestyle and culture that is often seperate from a normal travelling experience.

I stayed in an International house for a number of years at Univeristy, meeting French, Spanish, Danish, Dutch and Turkish people, allowing me to gain an appreciation for the world and the people around me, aswell as their cooking!

I am a genuinely chilled out person, allowing most of the usual stresses of the 'real world' to flow over me with little real thought, focussing on my friends and family over all else.

For me, every day is an amazing thing, every experience, with the good, friendly, witty, sharp, annoying, exciting people of this planet is an amazing thing! It's these experiences that should be treasured the most!

If you visit South East Asia, ALWAYS and I Mean ALWAYS carry some toilet tissue with you! They pretty much use their hands over there, so toilet roll soon becomes like gold dust!
