ABOUT ME

I am a very positive, energetic, and enthusiastic person and love to meet new people who are similar in that way! I am a student at Portland State University and I studt public health. When I finish I want to continue in the medical field and then travel the wprld helping people who otherwise wouldn't get any. I am a student math teacher, all though I think that I learn more from them then what they learn from me. I love to travel, even though I am too poor to do it very often and can't wait to take my next trip!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that everything is mind over matter and if you believe than you can achieve. It doesn't matter whether you believe in yourself, in god, or something else - I think whether you think you can or you think you can't, either way you're right (if that makes since).

I want to be able to travel the world and meet lots of new people and return let people do the same by giving my couch to them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friends and I do it all the time between ourselves, but I haven't done this before with people I've never met so I'm a little nervous.

Interests

I love to listen to music and play instruments. I also like to dance, participate in sports, go swimming, travel, hike, camp, learn new things, teach other people what I know, help other people in any way they need help, practicing other languages, listening to the ocean, painting, admiring art, and lots of other stuff I can't think of right now... Music, Movies, and Books

I don't watch a lot of movies, because I don't have a tv or a lot of extra time, however I love music - every kind, especially the kind that you can dance to. I also really like to read. A few of my favorite authors is Christina Garcia and Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I wish I could rad more, but I'm stuck with boring text books from school.
