ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing person who is interesting in meeting open minded people from all over the world, but I would much rather you make that decision! I enjoy going out for coffee and tea, eating breakfast out!, hiking, swimming, movies, living and laughing and learning, exploring new places and learning new cultures, dancing, drinking and eating good food/beverages, going on long walks, and staying in shape. If i could have my way I would travel all over the world meeting new, fun and generally positive people! I really hope you would like to come to visit my beautiful little city!

I travel with a tiny stuffed purple hippo named blue.

I am excited to be travelling to Europe!!! I hope to meet some lovely people and have the time of my life!

PHILOSOPHY

I dont think there is any reason for us to be here other than to interact with and learn from others. Always keep and open mind and try to look for the best in any situation, no how matter how bad it might seem.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a futon or couch for surfers to sleep on, and a good general knowledge of the San Francisco bay area, and especially Marin County. I was born and raised here, although I moved away for 5 years to find myself, explore the world and make some of the best friends ever. If you want an escape to a beautiful area with hiking trails, woods, beaches, and tons of fun places to go that is really close to San Francisco drop me a line!

Interests

I like to dance!!! I dont know too many people who do. It is my favorite thing! People who bite their lower lip.. I love football (both Euro/Amer) good movies, good food and friends, nice nights out during a warm evening with a beer or wine in the hills, travelling, exploring new people and places, learning new things, exchanging ideas and concepts, lots and lots of sports, and if you can do it outdoors, I generally like it! Other than those, my interests are to enjoy my life and be as sociable as possible, know that life is what you make of it and we are all here to learn from each other.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Music: Trance Music, Electronic Music, Reggae Music, Rock and Roll, Metal, Rap, Pop, pretty much anything with a beat that is not static... I like to read, although I could not tell you the last great novel I finished. I read mostly to learn, instead of pleasure.. And movies, If you have seen it or heard of it, there is a good chance I either have it, or would know how to get it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

* While I was staying in Moscow, I went to a theatre dance production for royals and the elite upper class. While I was at this dance, I had the wonderful opporitunity to be "selected" from the audience of over 5,000 to go on stage and dance with a group of wonderful Russian Ladies! - I was a bit intimidated, being I didn't speak any Russian unfortunately, and all of a sudden I was dancing in front of their upper class... But it was very fun, the audience had a good aura about them, they all clapped to encourage us and It was an awsome experience!

* How can you post just one? Another amazing experience took place with fellow couchsurfer Jeanne Johnson. We went to the big island of Hawaii, and went for a Kayak trip across Kealakekua Bay. We were told there would be spinner dolphins, but we did not exactly know where to look. Halfway out, we came across a pool of kayakers looking at dolphins, and we decided it would be best to leave the dolphins in their natural enviornment and watch them from a longer distance away. To our suprise, less than a minute later, there was a school of Spinner dolphins swimming under our kayak! They made their way to us! They were surfacing so close, we could have touched them...

* Hiking 25 miles in Mt. Lassen Park
* Parasailing off the coast of Belize/Mexico
* Underwater Sea Park in Cozumel Mexico
* Seeing the sun rise on the top of Mauna Kea Hawaii
* Played in a pick-up football game with NFL stars

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been schooled quite well, have travelled to very interesting places, and like learning about new people and cultures. I am open minded, not pushy and respect peoples ideas as long as they respect mine too! If you find my interests in line with yours, maybe we could have a good time!
