About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Start a career as a professional musican; combine my love of music with my love of travel, and eventually see as much of this world as I can through music
ABOUT ME
Native New Yorker living in (and in love with) Berlin. I feel more at home here than I ever did back in NYC. I work full-time and seem to fill up every other spare moment studying German, seeing friends, studying voice and (mostly) playing or writing music.
Though I'm super busy with work, studying and writing, I would love to meet as many people as possible.
UPDATE: August 27th, 2010: The last month and a half has been extremely busy and I've been SUPER bad about getting back to people on here. TERRIBLY SORRY TO THOSE WHO HAVEN'T GOTTEN A REPLY YET. I should be settling down again in the next week or so.
PHILOSOPHY
I don't have a personal philosophy. I'm trying to live for now (I don't always succeed), trying to let go, enjoying the small things and trying to trust myself a little more each day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazing thing done: decided I wanted to live in Berlin. Gave myself three months. Bought a one-way plane ticket. Worked 2 jobs, sold almost everything I had, moved here, got stranded (that's a story to tell over a cup of coffee), had amazing friends (thank you Jessica Tucker, Stephen Mayes and Katharina Rein!!!!) who helped me, and am now slowly on my way to German citizenship. Want a new life? Go make one! :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a Bachelor's degree in Music and am good with theory. I've been playing guitar for 17 years and have played drums, piano and am now learning how to sing properly (but I've been singing for years and years, too). I'm not good at teaching people how to play "in the style of" someone, but if you want to be able to do what you want on an instrument or with writing music, I have some experience and might be able to help you ask yourself the right questions so you can find your own answers. Does that sound weird?
