I live in a Stockholm suburb bordering the countryside. The closeness to open fields and cows has made me think that I'll be better off living farther away from the city rather than closer to it. I'm also pretty tired of Stockholm, so my next project in terms of relocation is probably to try living somewhere smaller and more rural.

Awaiting that, I'm finishing my studies to become a psychologist and spend my spare time thinking and hanging out with friends. When I feel like exercising I'll go climbing or spend some time with the barbell.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my experience this has been a great project. As a host, I've enjoyed providing people with a place to stay, making sure they have what they need to be comfortable. I don't consider myself a great guide to the city but like to help people get set to explore on their own. As a guest I've been met with incredible hospitality, and staying with strangers has been such a great way to sample more of the range of interesting people.

Currently I'm not hosting, and I think it's mainly because I now live alone which for whatever reason makes me less comfortable. The idea is still appealing so I'm hoping I'll turn around.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a pretty good conversationalist, or, if I'm low on energy, a good listener. That's the only explanation I have for why people tend to like me, because I'm unable to list any other qualities.
