About Me

CURRENT MISSION

settling down

ABOUT ME

I am very much down to earth. In fact I can think of no other place that I'd rather be. At the same time I yearn to fly and soar across wide open spaces. Skiing and climbing is largely what fills this void. Also. I love people. And nature. That pretty much sums it up. Okay it's a bit more complicated than that but for now I hope it suffices. Also. Couchsurfing has treated me so well over the years. The joy of travel and connecting with people and bridging cultures is what I live for (literally work for). It is an honor to come back and participate again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have done a fair amount of surfing and it has never once let me down. In fact it has always lifted me up and inspired to the highest heights. My situation has never quite been right to host but I am now trying to get it together at my shared place here in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Western Europe, Middle East, South Asia.

Interests

I enjoy deep and intriguing conversation with people who can and wish to go the distance. Being direct and dancing around, playful and serious, real and ethereal, I am interested in balancing intensity. Very passionate, not easily satisfied, deeply affected, but always ready to surrender and confront the sea of peace that lies beneath almost every situation.
