About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy life, travel, be generous, honest and respectful to others, always seek out new adventures and relationships
ABOUT ME
Hmmm who am I???? I'm 35, single, and enjoying every minute of life! I recently moved to Boulder, Colorado, and I love it! Like all other couch surfers I love to travel, but I also try to take full advantage of what my local community has to offer.
PHILOSOPHY
SMILE! It's contagious. I strive to always appreciate what I have. I try to seek out new experiences and different perspectives.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've just hosted so far, but can't wait to hit the road and meet locals where I travel! I've been getting involved in more local couch surfing events.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm pretty new to the couch surfing scene. My neighbor is a member and hosted three travelers recently, who I had the pleasure to meet and spend time with. Their spirit of adventure inspired me to share in the fun! Since then it's been a non-stop party! Now I'm looking to couch surf with others, and the coolest thing is finding so many people around the world who I am linked to through other couch surfers I've hosted!
Interests
After talking to me for one minute you'll learn I have 2 big loves: snowboarding and the Chicago Cubs. However I do have many more interests! I like most outdoor activities - softball, hiking, biking, rafting, happy hour on a rooftop or deck on a cool summer evening in Colorado (or anywhere in the world!)
I love live music, independent films, ethnic festivals, dancing (swing dancing lately), and of course traveling!

Music, Movies, and Books
Satire is definitely my favorite style of literature and film. I also I admit I love independent films where seemingly nothing happens - no explosions, no chase scenes, no romantic love story, just interesting characters having true to life experiences or great imagination. Movies like Run Lola Run, Spellbound, You Can Count on Me, The Station Agent, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. As far as music goes, I pretty much like anything that has a good beat and is easy to dance to!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Nothing I've done in my life compares to the incredible acts of heroism and courage and selflessness I see from "ordinary" people. But I did hike in the Alps on the border between Germany and Austria. That was uber cool.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to snowboard, and love learning about different cultures and history.
