ABOUT ME

Claire - I just got my master's in ecological teaching and learning and now we are hoping to move to the mountains! I love being outside, especially when backpacking or snowboarding. My pet peeves include people who chew with their mouths open and my dog Lucy's gas issues. I ride a bicycle most places and my scooter everywhere else.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to live life with intention. It is something I am striving towards everyday. My experience with my masters program has opened up my eyes to what it truly means to live every day with intention and how important it is to make a difference in my own life as well as working on larger community goals.
Mark just taught me another piece of advice that his father gave him that I have been holding on to. There are few mistakes in life that are unrecoverable. It makes me feel better with so many big changes in our future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only participated through my friend Kim. I've been to her home many times to hang out with couchsurfers and have even had a few visit my home for BBQ's. It is always fun to meet so many interesting people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I have done in my lifetime is a somewhat simple experience. I have laid naked in a natural hot spring at tree line surrounded by mountains and watched shooting stars.
