ABOUT ME

luke's a biology grad student at humboldt state university and i'm a research assistant with the california cooperative fish and wildlife research unit. basically we both like getting our boots mucky, catching critters and exploring wetlands.

we were both born in pennsylvania and met in a penn state ornithology class. after bouncing around the states for a little bit, we settled in the ocean front town of arcata, ca and the rest is unwritten!

luke and i stayed with some wonderful and very generous hosts while traveling throughout europe in 2008. we got that warm fuzzy feeling and decided to offer our couches up to good-hearted travelers...so come visit!
