ABOUT ME

Quite a rare case; a Norwegian living in Sweden! I needed a change but wanted to live somewhere good and where my current field is doing well..

..I have never had a bigger culture shock in my life! Which probably indicates how little I have actually REALLY travelled, although many ppl think of me as the "world-trotter"... I lived and travelled in several english speaking countries but living in the multinational Europe Im beginning to realize its not all that helpful..

Deep down... I know I am highly goal-directed, a dream-achiever, but once in a while I glamorously fail at this (with patience not on my side).. I value personal freedom, integrity, and with my occupational therapy background I plan to save the world one day (one country at a time)---A few other things I should mention..:1. I cant stand rollercoasters (dont take me to disneyworld, wonderworld, etc etc!), the same for spiders and snakes, hospitals and dentists. I try to keep a somewhat healthy lifestyle, to stay away from these places... 2. I have an obsessive relationship to sunshine.. Unless I am in Australia where sun is my enemy I am the most happy when the sun is out and I am OUTSIDE enjoying it. 3.Im not OVERLY enthusiastic about museums unless they truly make the place special.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can show tourists around, teach them all I know about what I know (this knowledge increases every day!)- teach them Norwegian. Meet up for a coffee , come traveling with you. I may be able to host you, too!

I sometimes write/compose music, but I have few composing skills. I want/try to learn the piano and secretly love singing. Im also interested in filmmaking and photography.

Ryanair terms of conditions- 10 kg maximum! Travel light, you dont need all those possessions people! You exist even without all your stuff.. Find the value in yourself, the people around you, the places you go, not in your possessions... cause you may also never see it again, once you hand it over to that inexperienced flightcounter assistant!
