Music, Movies, and Books

I love travel essays. Bill Bryson, Tim Cahill, Paul Theroux, and Marie Javins are some of my favorites. Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi is one of my favorite books ever and I enjoy just about anything by Stephen King.

I don't watch many movies, but if it's funny, there's a good chance I will like it.

I love music and will listen to just about anything. I love listening to live bands, and have been known to travel great distances to see a show.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am currently a Peace Corps Volunteer in Southeast Asia. Every day is amazing! Before this, I spent a summer living in Tanzania, East Africa. My host mother was getting married and invited me to participate in her wedding.

Teach, Learn, Share

I was slowly learning to sew but had to abandon my sewing machine due to travel. I'm fairly well versed in Photography and I can show you the basics in Photoshop and similar programs. I want to learn as much as I can about anything that I can. Currently, I am very interested in science, especially neuroscience.
