ABOUT ME

Hello All, my name is Brandon Robertson, I am a 25 year old Studio Art Major at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA. I am set to Graduate in the Fall of 2009, it has taken me a little longer than many of my friends to graduate because I am currently and have for my entire college career worked full time, which meant I could only take a couple classes during many semesters. I love all things creative!!! Painting, Drawing, Wood-Block Carving and Print-Making, T-Shirt Design, Playing Music, Writing Poetry, and I love to talk about the Arts with all fellow Creative Minds. I love to share ideas and meet fun people! Some people might call me a 'Tree-Hugger', which I don't mind because I respect all things in the Natural World and work hard to spread that respect to those who don't understand the damage they unknowing cause; if it's keeping my friends cigarette butts in my own pocket to prevent littering or offering to recycle others' would be trash. I hike, bike, canoe, kayak, rock climb, being in the middle of a forest or floating down a river is where I am able to think most clearly and develop my artistic ideas and metaphors. I love sharing ideas and talking about good books, music and art. My life goal is to forever be open and learning and participate in all of life's activities with a fluid and caring mind.

I have always opened my area and belongings to my friends and have done most of my traveling while staying with great, intelligent and interesting individuals. This is my first CouchSurfing.com experience and I look forward to being a member of this community for which I have heard so many wonderful things from friends Florida to Montreal.

My Music Interest span across the beauty of International Influences. I weigh equally lyrics and music, looking for meaningful and creative expressions and exciting chord progressions. I love reading about Natural ways to exist as a part of our eco-system and not detracting from it (I highly recommend Sir Albert Howard's 'An Agricultural Testament'.
