About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I enjoy learning about this world and helping others to learn. I also feel love for everything that lives. Thus, I'm a teacher at the vet school, and do some research, enjoy travelling, meeting and talking with people.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy life and do what you like as far as you don't harm anyone else. However, if you want to have the right to leisure, you have to work and earn it first. No human can have the perfect truth but just a partial approach to it. So, it's better to be tolerant.
Enjoy and share affection. It's great for us all.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm quite new to this. Haven't participated much yet. I like the idea of a world's community where people get to know each other, help each other, build something together.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All the people I've met were very good and interesting. My experiences with CS have been very positive.

Interests

Reading science and good novels, doing sports, knowing and enjoying wildlife and nature (including camping), knowing people and cultures (both local and foreign). I also have a big interest in people's living conditions and social justice so I'm interested in politics and social action.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies and books. Specially if they entertain by stimulating reflection and have some touch of humour.
I love music, quite ecclectic in styles, but particularly rock, Vivaldi, salsa, Uruguayan popular songs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My 2nd daughter's birth (1st was by cesarean section). I saw her being born and then had to wash her. Most amazing thing in my life.
It was also terribly amazing doing sauna and ice bathing in the Swedish winter, thanks to my friend and former coadvisor Mats. Incredible experience.
Walking through the hills in Bolivian and Peruvian Andes. Very beautiful. Spiritual experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teaching is my profession. But just about animals's tissues, cells, growth and reproduction. If I can help with any of this, I'll be glad to do it. I can also help translating texts from English, French, Swedish or Portuguese to Spanish.
I like learning about other points of view and ways of doing things. Collective and altruistic goals appeal to me.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Peru
