ABOUT ME

I grew up in Victoria, Canada, and loved it there, but have also enjoyed all the traveling I did between 2008 and 2011. I will always be glad with my decision to travel, even if it kept me from home longer than planed - I have had countless irreplaceable experiences that I wouldn't trade for anything.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted and surfed, and loved both. CS has also been a great community for me allowing me to meet other travelers and locals as I travel and live overseas.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had great experiences both hosting and surfing. I've been amazed by the welcoming attitudes and flexibility of hosts, and had a blast with couchsurfers that stayed at our place in Brisbane. I love how at some places you are just made to feel at home, and hosts will even take the time to show you around or do activities with you. I hope to be that kind of host to as many people as possible.

兴趣

I like outdoor activities like hiking, swimming, cycling and running, am addicted for life to triathlons... I'm pretty much up for nearly any kind of sporty activity. I love adventure activities that get my adrenaline pumping. I have my creative side too, I really love going to the cinema, and seeing live music if I have the time and money for it! (though I can be a bit of a fantasy and sci-fi geek when it comes to books and movies). Since living Wellington I've developed a taste for good coffee, but it's a treat rather than a habit and I generally try to live a healthy, active, and environmentally friendly lifestyle.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Most amazing thing I've done? Probably just getting on the plane for a solo round the world trip without knowing when I would return. Most amazing side effect: friends all over the world :)
