About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find out how all kind of people can live together

ABOUT ME

I'm a local and political active person as member and president of several youth organizations in Oostkamp - where I live - : Youth Council/Jeugdraad, the youth house: (www.denartiscjo.be) and in Ghent - my university city -: L²-JongProgressieven Gent (www.jongspirit.be). It's a radical liberal party. Our philosophy is to create a system so that people will be able to make there own decisions. Internationalism, respect for different cultures, progressivism and democracy are important issues.
I like to meet people and discuss and learn about that point of view.
For several years I work for children an teenagers during the summer.
I'm also a member in the team that selects movies for the filmfestival Cinema Novo in Brugge. (www.cinemanovo.be) It's an nice festival with only movies from Asia, South-America and Africa.
I play a little bit of djembe, but want to learn it better some day..

PHILOSOPHY

"It's better to burn than fade to grey." An Pierlé

Interests

I'm not a fanatic sport watcher, but once an a while I like to take my bike for a little trip or to run a bit.

I'm more into politics, international relations and multicultural environments.
Don't ask me any names of actors, songs or books. But I do like an alternative movie or a song with consistence.
