About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Changing the world one note at a time.
ABOUT ME
I am an easy going classical musician living in New York. I am really into music (obviously), yoga, languages, and food.
PHILOSOPHY
I give people the benefit of the doubt, and I try to read as much as I can. I'm trying my best to chill out every day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Trying to make the world a better place. I am on here to meet people as I travel around the world singing. I'm also interested in meeting and hosting people who come to my city.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I traveled in Europe in September and October and met some great friends on the CouchSurfer network.
I went on tours with my singing group in college and stayed in many different places and homes, having a variety of experiences. I usually stayed with families, many of whom did not speak any of the languages I speak. It was a fun time and a learning experience.

Beethoven, Brahms, Bach, Britten, Mahler, Strauss, Mozart, Michael Hedges, Jamie Collum, Diane Schurr, Barber, Guastavino, Sondheim, Bernstein, Sallinen, Sibelius, Prokofiev, Bartok, Jeff Buckley, Ravel, Amr Diab, Menldelssohn, Shostakovich, James Taylor, Weill, Cole Porter, Caetano Veloso, Tracy Chapman, Sophie Herbert, the list goes on...
Books:
Satanic Verses, Ports of Call, Grapes of Wrath, The Moor's Last Sigh, Tales of the City, Great Gatsby, Chronicles of Narnia, the Dark is Rising, Pity the Nation, Desert Encounter by Knud Holmboe, The Kite Runner, The Love of the Last Tycoon, Cloud Atlas
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a week in the wild of Alaska trying to reroute the course of a stream that had swelled in flash floods. We didn't succeed, but I had fun and got a million mosquito bites.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach people how to sing and how to use their voices.
