ABOUT ME

I travel very often inside Brazil and abroad in order to produce reports for the magazines I work for. Also working as a guide in several nature travel destinations of Brazil and as a field producer/fixer for foreign tv crews on assignment in Brazil. Once a year I try to execute one of my very own trip project, always to a destination seldom covered by brazilian press or not often visited. Last trips: Yemen, Baffin Island, north Myanmar, Iran, Antarctica, Xingu river in south Amazon.
Next ones : Back to Yemen for sure, Tuva region in southern Siberia, Hokkaido Island in north Japan...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel very often, but I´m always in and out Sao Paulo city. I can help people finding their way for anything in crazy chaotic Sao Paulo city maze or Brazil in general, as I do this professionally for the foreign tv crews, helping can help journalists on things from scheduling an interview with our president Lula or visiting a remote tribe in Amazon areas. I can also offer a couch in lovely Florianopolis island, south Brazil, where my mom and sister has a dance academy and may let sleep on its (clean ) floor. Also in Sao Paulo city, depending on the dates, I can offer a couch at my place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Fisrt time on a website like this. But I´m part of virtualtourist.com and have stayed in many local people´s houses during my travels. I believe it is the ONLY way to really get to know a real taste of a town´s rhythm and lifestyle.
