Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a surfer throughout my recent nomadic wanderings. I want to further this connection to peope and places. I enjoy returning the favor of hosting those who wander, need to crash, pass through or are generally without a plan.

Interests

books, music, art, conversation, spitball, brainstorming, creating 'solutions of grandeur' - that is methods to save the world, a species, a friend, a resource, your sanity, or any sustainable improvement in your immediate vicinity or beyond.

Nature, birds, herps (repts and phibs), plants, breaking cultural barriers, feeding the hungry, prison reform, non violent solutions to modern conflicts.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: anything vonnegut, stienbeck, thompson or kingsolver. Think books; books that contain absurity, ideas, philosophies, and/or a general enlightenment.
Music: Mostly anything but county-pop. Really into Bluegrass and Led Zepplin at the moment.
Movies: This is too long of a list.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy looking at the world through a different perspectives. By day I teach children to love a place by connecting through alternate routes that what they see at school. I try to keep these routes open in my own life and constantly question and keep an open mind about the ever evolving environment I find myself in.
