I have a hard time filling out sections like these because I feel obituaries were made for the dead. In short, I consider myself a priviledged person who is spoiled with a wonderful family and great friends. I strive to see as much of the world as my time on earth allows.

PHILOSOPHY

I realized years ago that life is not a dress rehearsal. The inability to relive any of our days on earth was tough for me to grasp. Looking at life through this prism has caused me to appreciate the good and bad every day brings...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was introduced to couchsurfing on my first trip to Eastern Europe in 2007. I have since vowed to never to travel without the assistance of the network. I have also made my services available for those traveling through my hometown.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I continue to be impressed with the sacrifice of time some couchsurfers make to assure your experience in their country is enjoyable. Couchsurfers have now guided me through 8 Eastern European countries.
