About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To share life, experience life and love life by sharing music, food and experiences!

ABOUT ME

This stage of life is making me curious about myself to be honest...at one point I loved the 9-5 dream, specified vacation time and a nice home to store things in...now though, I seem to have been infected with the desire to meet people, experience life with them and share dreams. I'm a musician, with a guitar, with a microphone and a wife. Currently I'm permanently on tour around the world. Basically, if they'll let me play, I'll be there!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe we have to much, use to much and share too little. I think life is an ongoing journey that takes you through mountains and valleys, all the while shaping you, growing you and changing you. I think art, music and culture drive and provide the soundtrack and the imagery we need to exist, and colors the pages of our lives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm pretty new to the CS2 project, but hope to become more involved the longer I'm out here! I think it's an amazing initiative and having friends that have used it, I'm excited to become more involved. This is the one true way of developing community on a global scale which is something I think we need more of.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed on a lot of people's couches while on tour, but haven't yet found them through here...

Looking forward to the first one!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There's these weird things called Bioluminescence found in San Juan, Puerto Rico...they're like fireflies but in the water, and they don't have enough strength to light up on their own, but when you move them (paddling or swimming) they light up...totally wild!

Teach, Learn, Share

"Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish, he'll eat for life, but we have to find out who owns the pond" - Shane Claiborne

I'm worried that the world has too much stuff. I'm not good at it yet, but I'm learning, how to live with less, be content with less, and enjoy things for what they are. It scares me that the richest nations have the highest rate of suicide and that the poor are still ignored. The world is in need of change, of true community, and a new way to experience life.

I suppose this is something I can teach, but something I want to learn more about. And then share.
