Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting is nearly all I've done so far, had some great experiences through it. Passing on some knowledge be it pracitcal, musical or the odd joke/laugh!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We met a dude in Austin, TX, but didn't end up on his couch, however, we did play shuffleboard and busked some good music on the street corner into the night. Twas great!
There's been so many since, it's quite difficult to phrase the beginning of a friendship in a paragraph :)

Interests

Music, diving, surfing, driving around in my campervan :) Reading, walking in the woods, busking. Trad sessions. Climbing trees and a good pint of Guinness. Watching rivers/oceans. Travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh waaaaaaay too many to name, maybe I'll just say what was the latest of each:
I just saw 'V for Vendetta' again and I still like it.
I just listened to 'Leonard Cohen' and sang along in awe of such great poetry.
I've just read every novel by Neil Gaiman, and they were great. Next up is 'Dune'

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people how to juggle 3 balls, and at a stretch 4, geta diablo on the go. I can teach a lot about how to play the guitar and/or bass, double bass, the basics of bouzouki, mandolin and maybe more!

I have some knowledge of Irish history from going around the historical sites over my lifetime and gathering information on them, more than happy to pass it on.

Pandora.com is a great way to learn about new bands. Or if you're in Europe, where Pandora doesn't work; Last.fm is much the same.
