About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find that one place where I could imagine spending the rest of my life. Up till now I've seen some amazing countries, but there are still so many I want to experience first hand.

ABOUT ME

I was born in Germany but spent my childhood in the Washington DC area of the States. Since I left home, the longest I've remained in one place has been five years. It started out by changing states every couple of years, and has now expanded into country hopping.

PHILOSOPHY

I guess its to see as much of this world as I can before we've destroyed it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The only couches I've stayed on have belonged to friends, with one exception. There was one memorable trip to Barcelona several years ago where we couldn't find a hotel and met a guy who let us crash at his place for the weekend. It ended up being the most surreal but amazingly fun weekend.

Music, Movies, and Books

Comedies, action adventure, and romance pretty much sum up what I like to read as well as the type of movies I like. As far as music goes, in my heart I'm true folk, but I also like pop quite a lot, especially latin pop. I'm pretty open to everything though except show tunes and elevator music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bought my first plane ticket to Europe. That was the beginning of my travels abroad and it hasn't stopped since. Although if your looking for something of more general interest I spent a week at the royal compound in Jordan and I've spent two summers in a Palace in the South of France.

Teach, Learn, Share

As it's my profession I'm an expert on nearly all things relating to children especially on getting them to behave. I also know quite a lot about food and its preparation, but am always interested in learning more.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, Egypt, France, Ireland, Japan, Jordan, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

China, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, United States
