ABOUT ME

We enjoy travelling to and meeting people from new and interesting countries and regions, learning about their cultures and favourite food and ales. We prefer - when possible - to do this by using surface transport.

We enjoy the outdoors and the natural world.

Tom is an English gentleman, who loves a good cup of tea and a pint of warm ale (though not together). He is at his happiest growing tomatoes and listening to BBC Radio Four comedy shows.

Lara likes moomins, avocadoes, ale, hats, beards and riding her bicycle.

PHILOSOPHY

We love the idea of creating a community online where people of all cultures and backgrounds can arrange to meet and learn a bit more about other people's different countries.

We have Couchsurfed in Japan, the USA and Belgium and have met some amazing people.
