ABOUT ME
"an embodiment of wild nature, not an observer and appreciator of wild nature; a geyser, not an architect who critiques fountains; a bonfire, not a candle-gazer; a horse, not a gambler who bets on the ponies..."
hmm...i spend a great part of my life at the lovely, 501(c)3 non-profit, crazy rebel house, Eyedrum Music & Art Gallery in atlanta , where I'm the president of the board of directors. I also sit on the art committee and act as the volunteer coordinator. trying to make my voice a conduit for communication from the aware, mindful side of the tracks through art curation, public performance art, guerrilla urban interventions...I'm very lucky to have a wonderful gallery space as a platform for art and curations that are, hopefully, part of a larger cultural dialogue.
voracious anti-censorship, free press, free speech advocate.
i love atlanta more than most. im in love with my parks, the hole-y roads, and my co-op.
i keep my eyes wide open all the time.
loves to love
PHILOSOPHY
act in love, not fear
Interests
being aware and analytical of the social and cultural constructs around the world and their progression over time, all the while, making a personal effort to process all information and make decisions through no filter but my own natural instincts; being really human; observing the nature of love as it changes forms and transcends everything.
thoughtful art/music/writing.
holistic medicine, mind/body interactions, self-healing.
also, ummm...yoga, awkward beauty, the word and color cerulean, new pencils, lots of reading, the smell of book stores, drawing, pineapples, tea, alkaline cleanses, discovering new and tasty vegan recipes, surprises, treehouses, sunsets for sure, bodies of water, people with cameras/stories/a fire under their ass/the desire to cause some necessary trouble/love for everyone.

Music, Movies, and Books
ha. that's too much to take on right now...let's talk about it when one of us is on the other's couch. yes. i could go on and on and on.
favorites inspire strong feelings of beauty, new ideas, curiosity, rage, blah blah, etc. i'm getting tired of my own bullshit right now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
touched george clinton's hair once. yeah. try going through life trying to top that. it's not easy.
Teach, Learn, Share
living without losing your mind/integrity...the causes and effects of the re-urbanization of western societies, from the large-scale trends and impacts, to what specifically it means for artists and other off-the-grid-dwellers (well, it's not like im an expert or anything but i'll certain talk to you about it for hours...im an amateur social anthropologist)....how to live around all the rules...the security code to get to the best rooftop in atlanta...
