About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet amazing, open minded people from all over the world, learn different cultures, learn SPANISH, and to have places to stay when *I* travel abroad! :)

ABOUT ME

I LOVE to travel. Always have, always will. Got to see lots of places while I toured with R&B artists as a tour manager...but since then i've worked here in NYC and have mostly travelled domestically for work. I began my international travels once again this year and I intend so do so much more regularly from now on.

I'm really not that into touristy stuff! I love going where the locals go and doing what the locals do, and if I can pick up some culture, learn a little of a language...and make some REALLY great friends, that would be AMAZING. I love people, love to talk, laugh, have a few drinks and really just have fun. I hope to meet people on my travels, and people right here in the NYC area that might wanna be travel buddies!! It would be great to not have to always go places alone :)

I moved here to Fort Lee, NJ from Long Island several years ago...but I still dont know many folks here in Jersey since i'm always in NYC. My place is just minutes from NYC, so if anybody needs a couch...hit me up!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I met a fellow couchsurfer from Poland and we spent the day visiting the Statue of Liberty and South Street Seaport and had a BLAST! I also met someone from mexico and showed them some of my favorite bars and hot spots in NYC. I'd love to open my doors to fellow travelers, recommend some great places to eat and experience in my home town...and hopefully get to go to other places and share in a great experience too!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed once. In Riverside, CA. I was producing a big concert at the local university (UCR) and figured i'd try it out instead of staying in a hotel. It was great. Met some great people and really enjoyed it!

Interests

I love social interaction, music, concerts, (pretty much all aspects of entertainment and the entertainment industry), writing, latin music (old school salsa!), experiencing different cuisines and customs, learning, History, etc. Seeing locations where historical battles and events took place is sooo amazing to me.
