About Me

ABOUT ME

People who know me well say I am usually easy to get along with, funny, generous but I have also many faults : I'm stubborn (and a little narrow-minded with my ideas), a little too untidy, too greedy and sometimes too shy.

PHILOSOPHY

Trying to make the most of a simple life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to help travelers because I know how difficult it is to find nice and cheap accomodation. But above all, because spending some time with local people is the best way to discover a country.

Interests

I love cooking, spending nights trying to solve the world's problems with friends, taking part in farm working, being a political activist... I love botany, geology, geography, geometry... I love trees, cheese and red wine... I love drawing, inventing cakes recipes, big family dinners, cycling, playing tennis and volleyball, trying to become a water diviner, gardening, watching ants, gathering fruits and vegetables, going to open-air market, eating cherries while being in a cherry tree, tasting new varieties of apples...

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't really like reading or only if I find a VERY interesting book (Les Mutins de la liberté, Che Guevara's biography, history books, poetry).
Music: fan of Damien Saez, likes all types of music, except R'n'B.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen about 8000 sunsets and 8000 sunrises, I've tasted dozens of different types of cheese, I have gathered tons of red and delicious tomatoes slowly grown in my garden, I've learnt how mountains arise from the Earth and how they disappear, I've touched millions-years-old rocks and fossils, I've felt earthquakes, I 've talked with persons who were at the other side of the world (yes telephone and Internet are AMAZING), I've eaten products grown thousands kilometers from my home (bananas and cacao are also AMAZING)... I've spent 24 years on this amazingly beautiful planet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love nature and I have some knowledge about it : geology, botanic, ecology... According to my friends I am also good at cooking and I really enjoy to share this passion with people.
