ABOUT ME

I am an easy-going person and I'm curious about many things. I like travelling, meeting new people from different cultures. I also enjoy being in nature, spending time with friends or family and cycling. I love to go into the mountains, walk on the beach or in the forest,...I get a lot of energy out of that. I am a sociologist. I am currently an assistant at the university of Leuven, and writing a Phd about sports opportunities of underprivileged people in Flanders. I also love learning languages. When I have holidays, I like to read.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't have any particular philosophy. I just like to live life as it comes. There is a saying tough that I would like to add, just because i like it and i think it is very true:
advice is like a toothpick: nobody wants to use yours

Musica, film e libri

I am fund of Amparanoia, a Spanish music group; more generally I like many different types of music, from all over the planet, but especially Latin types of music. I also like folk music of my country, which is traditional music, but in a modernised form. It's actually quite popular at the moment in Belgium; and a lot of people (like me) like to dance the 'old' dances again, such as polka, gigue or bourree.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

The most amazing thing I have ever done is snorkling in a small place near Tulum in Mexico. The underwaterworld there is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. It even felt like a whole experience, I was discovering a world I didn't know yet: the world of the sea. I almost felt like a mermaid :-)
