ABOUT ME

I am a laid back and friendly postgraduate student who loves meeting people. My passion in life is music and no visit to a new place is quite complete without seeing a band or playing with a fellow traveller. I am a content and down to earth individual who loves to learn from other friendly people.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel that despite the elements of life that can negatively affect everyone, there is an underlying feeling that people just want to get along and benefit each other's life. My years of experience have taught me to cherish the elements of life i live for, meeting and making generous and open new friends through fun activities in every element of life. There is nothing better than meeting new people and making long-term friends; whether it be at a festival or through the couch surfing network.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am completely new to the CS2 project but love the philosophy behind it and cannot wait to contribute to being a couch host and help fellow travellers around the world see my local area through the eyes of someone local.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a newbee to the official couch surfing community but have a wealth of experience staying on the couches of friends up and down my home country of England. The fact that this project exists is an indication of the volume of friendly people in the world who have a like-minded love to house people who need a helping hand

Interessen

I play the Ukelele, bass guitar and normal guitar. I dabble in a bit of rock climbing and enjoy cycling and playing frisbee.

Books: Any travel literature by Paul Therroux. Fermats last theorum, modern science (the tipping point)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I spent the summer of 2006 volunteering for an environmental charity by teaching school children and adults how to find fossils on my local beach in Dorset, England. I got to meet some really genuine people who taught me a lot in life and i got to spend my time benefiting the local population through personally helping people and achieving great feedback from the many friends i made.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

People who know me have said that i am a very personable person who engages with personality traits. I feel i can teach people about my experiences in life through interaction and offer a friendly ear to the altruistic experience of meeting people on the road.

Practically, i am also a musician who is pretty good at the guitar, bass and ukelele.
