ABOUT ME

I'm Simon, I'm on my first real trip right now. I've been in Spain for one month and in Morocco for one month also. I'm now addict to travelling! After Christmas time I'm planning to go in Australia. I met so much nice people from there on my trip, and I want some nice wheather. Right now I'm in Belgium and it's really bad...So that's all about me for the moment.

Dicover more and more different people and culture.

A classic one: we only have one life, so live fully!

Laugh is good for health.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was with a friend in Spain and Morocco and we've been pretty unlucky with couchsurf. We had a drink with 3 American gilrs in Granada wich was really nice but I haven't been host so far. Hope to do some in Australia!

Interests

Lots of sport: downhill biking, ski, climbing, I tried surf in Morocco, hopefullu I will get better in Australia... I also like music a lot, all kind, and it is really true. From reggae to metal. I play the guitar and carry one with me, it's real fun on a trip! Have fun in general is one of my interest.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't read to much and I feel bad about that... But I read some classic, Lord of the rings was great, the hobbit, 1984 from George Orwell, the ants from Bernard Werber.

I really enjoy cinema: Snatch, Fight Club, Planet Terror, Braindead (one of the first Peter Jackson movie), Persepolis, Slapshot. I'm big fan of oldschool gore movie, it can be really funny! Especially the Zombie one...

I enjoy music a lot, I listen to some good quebec music if you are intersted. Like I said before a really like all kind of music, depending of the context. Old rock'n'roll like Chuck Berry, Red hot chilli pepper, Rage against the machine, Eric Clapton, Genesis, Led Zeppellin... It could be a long list!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went one day to the Okterberfest in Munich, missed my train and slept in the train station, just too much fun over there!!!

Went to a FC Barcelona game, that is also insane (won 4-0 against Valencia)

Did surf in Taraghout, really nice spot, for any surfer! I'm not good yet but one day I want to ride big waves.

It's an other kind of thing but I've done two treeplanging season in norht of quebec. Best work-fun experience you can get.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn the more cultural thing I can, from anywhere anytime. And in exchange teach about Quebec culture as well.

I'm not bad in english but in Australia I want to get better, and why not get the accent if I'm there for a long enough time... I really like it!

I play the guitar so I can teach the basics of it, I'm really happy every time somebody plays with my guitar, good or not!

I'd like to learn anything you know that may be usefull or interesting, surprise me!
