ABOUT ME
I'm just another dude living in the world, appreciating everything from the micro to the macro. Life is short, so you may as well have a blast. I'm a TV producer working primarily in stand-up comedy programming; I love my job for the excitement and diversity it brings. I greatly enjoy travelling and my past experiences with CS on 3 separate continents have taken me places I could never have imagined.
PHILOSOPHY
Yeah, I'll eat that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
During the crash of '06 I visited the Collective in Montreal a few times and helped re-build the project in a few minor ways. I was elated to get to meet Casey and many other people there who were integral in making this whole amazing thing come together.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Everyone on here gets life! I spent some glorious times all over North America, Europe, and Asia with many different hospitable people, all of whom were incredibly generous and took me on adventures I would never have had otherwise. I have also had some great times showing people around my own awesome city. This thing is what the internet was built for: people helping people to make a better world.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a media whore of all types, but documentary films in particular are my jam; if you have any recommendations for good ones, send them my way! Also love comedy of course, and am a sucker for engrossing modern literature both fiction and non-fiction.
I love a wide range of music genres; currently digging reggae and soul, as well as Flying Lotus and other weirdo electronic stuff, but am also revisiting some of the classics like Stevie Wonder and Neil Young. I'm always interested in hearing great new artists... suggestions always welcome.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I got to stand just offstage while the full cast of Muppeteers sang "Rainbow Connection" live in front of 2,500 people. Then Steve Whitmire (Kermit) came offstage and gave me a hug. I may or may not have shed a tear.
... and many more amazing things besides. If you're living the life you want to be living, it's all amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you ever go on a long backpacking trip, always pack a roll of duct tape. You have no idea how many times it will come in handy.
