ABOUT ME

we are both musicians. wood plays fiddle and guitar. nicole plays guitar and banjo. we will be traveling around the united states until april of 2010 to play some shows and to meet new people.

we spent the last couple of years farming in western
pennsylvania on an organic sheep farm. living simply and sustainably is important to both of us.

right now we will be surfing, but hope to host in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

amazing! on our travels through eastern europe, we met many people who we now consider good friends. from going to underground hungarian folk bars to exchanging music with other musicians and having a beer- we have some great memories.

Interests

nicole likes old stories and new ideas. wood is a music therapist for autistic kids and loves her work. we love to play appalachian music together on mountains and in streets.

very hard to name a few, but in general, both of us are interested in documentaries, independent, foreign, and old films.

Teach, Learn, Share

we can play some music. we can bake some bread. we can identify some mushrooms in the wild and carve spoons out of logs. also we can milk goats assist in the birth of lambs.
