CURRENT MISSION

TO FINISH MY BOOK, RECORD A COMPLETE CD WITH MY BAND

ABOUT ME

There is 5 main domains that compose my life:

1. I consider myself as an apprentice writer, my first book will be in library in June (I write short stories)
2. Music: I have a rock band (instinctive way to play and write music) but I also compose for piano, choirs or strings quatuors which is a totally different way to understand music, I think (I follow lessons with a more or less ackowledged composer).
3. I want to be a philosopher, so i read a lot (about 100 books a year) and try to develop my ideas in a little essay (I write it for myself).
4. I spend a lot of time with my friends with whom I love to play basketball, to see a film, to make a trip or just to drink a beer!
5. Both of my parents are painters, my sister is studing art like a lot of my friends, so I also have a foot in art things: I'm the editor of an fanzine (called Matador) that publishes some of my acquaintance's art works! I also do some drawings for different fanzines I have done by my own.

play music with people, read next to a fire, my friends' jokes, philosophy, the girls-in-the-train's eyes, cinema, the travel's discoveries, museum, basketball, indians, long walks, the rain after a hot august day, history, drawing, little shops where we found the more extraordinary things, stories about my ancestors, stories about old sailers, a hot chocolate just after ski, the little je-ne-sais-quoi, the monsters and the aliens, spanish boots...

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

MUSIC

I play rock with my band GIN and for this reason i listen to quite a lot of rock things, like the hives, the white stripes, the strokes, mgmt, the klaxons, muse or rage against the machine.
i also love blues, and used to be a jazz fan (got a LOT of jazz records)

I am also learning the classical composition and that's why i hear a lot of classical and contemporain music (of course the great masters like schubert, bach or tchaikovsky but also some unknown composers like murail, pärt or grey).

I also do some hip hop beats and a little electro music with my computer, i like these musics too.

BOOKS

novels: borges, kafka, celine, ramuz, camus, malraux, houellebecq. and also american writters: bukowsky, fante, kerouac, asimov, poe...

theatre: beckett, sartre, camus, ionesco, wilde.

philosophy: nietsche, onfray, deleuze, spinoza, bergson, husserl...

MOVIES

star wars, back to the future, matrix, dead man, terminator, orange mécanique, el machete, all the movies with bruce willis or with a lot of moustachs, kubrick's, tarantino's, antonioni's, allen's...

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

i can teach guitar, music composition (of different styles), drawing (both of my parents are painters), and a little bit of philosophy. i also know more or less the french litterature!
