About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To love and let live.
ABOUT ME
We work to live, not the other way round. Both keen bikers - not least because it's a good way to meet people and make new friends. We enjoy travelling when we can afford the time and the money.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't know that I have one really - I just muddle along and hope to learn from my mistakes (of which there have been many!!).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
I LOVE reading. Any Jane Austen, Thomas Hardy, Ian Rankin, Stephen King, Terry Pratchett. Just read "Star of the Sea" and loved it.
Film noir. Chinatown, Double Indemnity, Sin City, Brokeback Mountain, Donnie Darko, Memento, Jeremiah Johnson, Shipping News.
Music - is there space for all this????
Rock. Foo Fighters, Killers, James Taylor, not jazz or hip-hop. McGill is an AC/DC nut.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've led a sheltered life! Loved swimming the Great Barrier Reef and visiting the rain forest up near Cairns. Have travelled Europe on my bike. Rode through the Punjab on a Royal Enfield Bullet. McGill enjoyed Death Valley, Grand Canyon etc on his way to Sturgis. Skiing in the Alps, sailing off Turkey...

Phew...I'll have to come back to this one.
