ABOUT ME

I can say that I am a quiet person. Quite polite, and gentle, if people are gentle to me. Sometimes I'm shy, some other times I can be very frendly and sociable. I'd like to meet new people, people with experiences and paths different from mines. I'm an occasional smoker, but I sure can live without cigarettes, and I am not a Heavy Drinker. I'm Pagan (I know, sound strange) and I have one wonderful little black cat named Bastet, after the ancient cat goddess of Egypt.

PHILOSOPHY

Take as much as you can from what life gives to you, don't let anything go. It is really hard to see something that you've lost coming back to you. But don't be stupid, sometimes is far more better to lose someone who deserve so.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live with my parents so I can't host anyone at the moment, they think that we can't host anyone if we haven't a host room. But it would be a pleasure to me to be a guide to anyone who would like to visit my hometown, and if you want I can be a good companion for a cup of tea, a drink or an Icecream (an icecream would be better, Sicily's weather is hot)

Interests

I've finished last year my studies to become a comic artist, and now i'm looking for a job. I'm good at cooking, expecially cakes, I love art and architecture, and my other hobbies are writing, reading (when I have time) rpg games and photography. I love animals, expecially cats, dogs and squirrels. I'm very intrested in travels, ancient myths, nature and history.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Musicals,and I grew up with disney movies, and, strangely, I still love them, even if they don't reflect exactelly my vision of life( that is obvious, Who belives in charming princes or dreams becoming true? oh, ok, that's cynical... well.. nevermind) I love movies setted in Ireland (I don't know why, but every Irish movie I saw was lovely) I love fantasy stories, in movies or books (recent fantasy movies are, however, extremely disappointing to me), costume movies and novels, ghost stories, british comedies (I can't resist that humour). There's not a proper kind of music that I prefer, but I love certain soundtracks from composers like John Williams, Hans Zimmer and others, or music with a strong or soft celtic or folk influence, and, sometimes, my old beloved gothic metal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, "amazing" is a subjective concept. Has been amazing to me to sit down on the green grass of St.James Park in London, on a cloudy afternoon, totally rounded by couriosly sociable squirrles (of course they just wanted the nuts I had in my poket). It was maybe too much of a "Disney Princess" moment, but was fun, and relaxing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am quite good at cooking cakes Italian and Sicilian food, Pizza, Pasta, and so on. I can cook muffins and pancakes, or maybe I can try to make some hand made liquor (my father is trying to teach me, no, we're not bootlegers) I can teach you all those things, or maybe try to share with you all what I know about drawing, painting, or using watercolours. If you want I can make you posers for my photoshoots. I love to make portraits.
