About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To rule the world with an iron fist. And of course to have fun, meet interesting people, and see a bit of the world while I'm at it. There's nothing better than a good beer at a good spot with some good people.
ABOUT ME
I'm from a medium-sized college town in Central Michigan. I was planning on going away to school, but I got a good deal from Central Michigan University, located in my hometown of Mt. Pleasant, and I had to take it. I came to Prague through CMU's study-abroad program. I've been having a great time at school, and look forward to returning in the winter. I'd have to say that the things I miss most are watching our football team and playing rugby with our school club. I'm studying business, the humanities, and law. I plan on going to law school after I get my undergraduate degree. My friends and family come second only to my personal beliefs of integrity and fairness.
PHILOSOPHY
The scene from Dogma where the main character asks God the meaning of life, and God simply honks her nose and says "Boop."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now it's really difficult to fully participate, since I don't own a fully-functional computer. It decided to crap out on me a few weeks ago. I'm more than happy to host fellow travelers, and I hope a few would be willing to do the same for me. However, since I'm not going to be Europe for more than a couple months, it makes more sense for me to work with the community back home than over here.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm pretty new at this, but I'd have to say Loja's chili peppers in Vienna. After eating 3 of those, I though I was on the verge of death. Thank you Tarek!
Interests
Sports (especially rugby), music, better music- expecially classic rock, alt. rock, jazz, classical music, and old school rap. Actually, most of the stuff that never makes it to the radio, except for 93.3 back home. They play good tunes every once in a while. Movies, better movies, books, better books, books that are better than the movie version, and movies that are better than the book version- but I have yet to encounter an example of this. Going out with friends, staying in with friends, beating the hell out of friends, and of course getting beaten by friends, because it goes both ways, right? I love good food, and that most definitely includes meat- sorry vegetarians. However, I'll very rarely turn down a bowl of cheap ramen noodles. I love Christmas, Halloween, and Thanksgiving, as well as Easter and the 4th of July. I would also say my birthday, but it seems pretty silly, since who can possibly not like that day? I love dressing up like an idiot and getting drunk enough to confirm it. I love making funny videos, and wish more of the people around me shared that interest. Most of all, I love being content with my position in life, and holding the belief that no matter where I am, things can always get better.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Riding on top of my car going 120KM/h. Just goes to show you that no matter how amazing travel can be, it's still possible to have the time of your life in you own backyard. I might feel differently if this experience had landed me in jail, but when the police showed up, we managed to stay out of any trouble.
