ABOUT ME

Meet me is the best way to know me ;)

All of my heart is occupied by traveling. I could never imagine how fun a life can be without being hinged on contracts. I had to quit my job as an engineer to travel. Now I'm able to go ahead until my feet are laced with hemorrhagic blisters. I'd a lot fun to work but something deep inside me had told me to see other cultures, other regions, other people, other opinions...As a result I am unemployed since the beginning of January 2012 but travelled since October 2011. I moved out of my flat to travel through Europe. My journeys stretched Europe and the northern parts of Africa. But I always could come back to Berlin or I could visit my family at the Baltic Sea. From the beginning of June this will change and I'm looking forward to escape! No dependencies, no borders.
I like to read, walk barefoot and to dance in the rain. I'm attracted by all weird or abandoned things. Hey, I'm from the sea, I like the wind in my face and to stand on the side of the road with my thumb stretched out.After seeing Europe I went to Northamerica and after 6months I suprised myself by sarting to cycle down to the end of South America. Since September 2012 I cycle. (Just arrived at Tierra del Fuego and returned to Berlin, Germany. Couch available.)

I'm in love with the sun .I`m interested in a lot of things and I am open-minded about new stuff. I love to see people acting and to improve myself. I don't like fixed people. I hate prejudicing. Somebody who can laugh so intensely that he has to cry is my best friend...somebody who can see the beauty of little things is my closest friend.

PHILOSOPHY

I want a life that belongs to me.
The world is perfect. There are no borders between its constituents and I am waiting for the moment humankind will recognize it.
I hate a world full of unnecessary consumption.
Beauty is luck. Beauty is traveling. Friendship is Beauty. Loneliness is beauty. Beauty is an elephant. Beauty is an ladybug.

Right now, traveling is my kind of feeling free and independent. It's important to me that my life belongs to me. It's wonderful to share something and to get something back.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In Rostock (a beautifully town close to the Baltic Sea) I hosted a few persons. It all starts with a French guy who came along with a friend of mine got a sleeping place in my living room. We met in a club and during my conversation I figured out that my friend and that guy she met in Morocco didn't find a bed to sleep in. Next morning he told me about CS and the idea behind.

Since then I joined some CS-Meetings in Rostock and Berlin, surfed some couches, floors and sofa beds and hosted some guys (often without a connection to CS).

Right now I cycle the two Americas. You can follow and camp with me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The best experience was a shortmovie. I was a main actor in a shortmovie in Quebec, shown at the FESTIVAL DU CINÉMA INTERNATIONAL EN ABITIBI-TÉMISCAMINGUE

Interests

Music, Books, abandoned things, sun, sand, water...Beach! Languages spoken by passioned people, weird locals talking about history, respond correctly to a question answered in the negative, Saying "shiiiit". beach volleyball, basketball, sweaty hands. Good food! First kiss. Stupid ideas and sudden dance. Dancing in the rain. Good beer. Good wine. beiing barefoot, juming into puddles. Purple, British spelling of words. Draft beer. Irish or Scotch Whiskey, blueberry muffins, Turkish coffee. Photography. Breakfast on the roof. Flatmates. fresh bedding. Hot as hell showering with a cold ending, homemade gifts. Quests! Biking, water, awkward turning of the page of the weekly newspaper, the word 'awkward'.To feel free. Enjoy life, enjoy people.

Besides I'm addicted to music. Sadly I'm still to bad with the guitar....

For the simple reason I haven't got a TV set, I read a lot. But I miss to watch reportages/ documentations.
