About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Surf waves all over the world

ABOUT ME

I'm a native New Yorker who had a hard time choosing between city life, mountain life and all-around beach-bumminess, which is why I ended up in L.A. 9 years ago. What I love most is traveling and exploring other cultures. I travel somewhere overseas every year. I truly enjoy my life, with a lot of freedom in my career, and great surf in my spare time, which I try to make as much of as possible.

PHILOSOPHY

We can all get along and celebrate our differences. In the case of CS, we ought to get along very well if we are to share living quarters!. I am a very grateful person, and generous with my soul.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted twice and surfed couches in Italy and Austria

Interests

I love surfing waves. The famous breakwater is only a 4 minute walk from my pad. I am also a bit of an outdoorsman, as I really enjoy to hiking and camping. I like going to music festivals. I'm always interested in learning about other cultures and people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to Reggae every day. It's my main thing, whether it be roots, rockers or dancehall(ragga). Then I love all that reggae influenced like Ska, punk and soca. Being a child of the 80's I still love the new wave. My favorite all time bands: The Clash, Stone Roses, Hepcat, Alpha Blondy and Morgan Heritage.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

C street in Ventura is the sweetest wave I've ridden. It's totally majestic snowboarding down fresh powder at the top of Mammoth. Hiking up the single track trails of Sequoia are breathtaking....but I've yet to hike Yosemite.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd just like to share experiences with different people, and learn varying perspectives. Teach me your language - I learn very quickly.
