About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Living the dream!
ABOUT ME
Born in Moscow, travelled the Russian wilderness (met no bears), came to Serbia, fell in love with the Balkans and finally settled in Belgrade after 4 years of travelling around former Yugoslavia.
I'm a translator and a journalist, a student and a teacher, a keen traveller and an amateur photographer.
Love discovering new places and getting to know old ones better. And I hope my Big Adventure is still waiting out there for me.
PHILOSOPHY
The Universe is open to any requests and it makes any wishes come true. It all depends on if you're on the right wavelength.
Don't be afraid to give and share. If you're trying to be a good person and do good things, your efforts will be repaid.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted in two countries and surfed in three. I've made some good friends via the Couchsurfing community. Unfortunately I can't host at the moment, but I will as soon as I can. In the meantime I'm looking forward to more surfing experiences.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It's been mostly positive so far. I met some amazing people thaks to Couchsurfing, discovered new places and felt at home in cities I'd never been before.

Music, Movies, and Books
I've got too many favourites to list them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've had a most beautiful spiritual experience in an Orthodox monastery in rural Macedonia.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a Serbian and English teacher. You could also pick up some Russian and Macedonian from me.
I also have a passion for Serbian tongue twisters, so I guess I can teach you how to say "Na vrh brda vrba mrda".
I'm always looking forward to learning new things. For instance, I'd love someone to teach me to play harmonica, and I try to learn several words in my guests' native languages.
