CURRENT MISSION

I bought some land and moved back to Ohio and am building a sustainable-living farm!

I grew up in the countryside of Ohio, a total tomboy, running barefoot and catching frogs. I made my escape via the Peace Corps...Haiti. Since those days I've lived/worked/studied here and there (Hawaii, Costa Rica, Haiti, South Korea, California) for 15 years or so. In 2015 I bought some land in southern Ohio where I'm starting up a sustainable living farmstead. I love to travel and live life to the fullest and i want to spend time with folks doing just that. Come hang out!

I am forever grateful for the countless folks who have taken me in at different points throughout my life and travels and have given me not only a place to sleep but also shared a piece of their lives with me. I like to bounce around and i love to meet and share with other open-minded beings. I also like returning that favor by hosting fellow surfers. I enjoy the interesting company and have made some lifelong friends through CS.

GIMME GOODNESS of all kinds. i'm a big fan of people, nature, wandering, good food (flexitarian--lotsa garlic!), soulful music, uncrappy books, strong coffee, yoga, real smiles, real hugs, cartwheels, evolution, homesteading, social change, the OUTDOORS, connections, laughing, randomness, making, doing, dirt, experience, conversation, adventure, sustainability, comfortable silences, dancing, hula hoops, sunrises, sunsets, fermentation, red wine, microbrews, LOVE, change, etc.

i love to learn and am open to anything...languages, instruments (am learning the ukulele and guitar), dance, games, meditation, yoga, cooking, life hacks, gardening hacks, primitive skills....come teach me something, please! :)

a good conversation. a cooking partner (i'm good w/ clean-up, too). an excuse to go out on the town or to stay in and have a dinner party. music & movies from my external hard drive. a partner in crime at something you've been wanting to do for a long time. i'm simply a respectful guest and i might just bring you a gift.
