About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Conspiring against myself and failing (often).
ABOUT ME
My current description is: I'm really upset with CS becoming a for-profit company. Still I'm trying not to let all the fun I get from CS to be ruined by this bad bad trick.

------------------
Here is what used to be my description:
in a not-so-few words...
I'm not open-minded (what does it mean, by the way?!?), I do not like people in general, and specially strangers. I hate to talk with people with funny accents, in languages different from the one spoken in my own little village, and above all I can not stand listening their personal stories and thoughts.
But it happens that culturally I am a masochist, so I really enjoy doing all that. So, you could be welcome, after all. If you are scared by the sarchiapone, like I really am, don't forget to state it when you contact me for surfing my couch: I prefer profile-reading sarchiapone-scared people.
After this, I add some more useless words, just to annoy hasty profile readers: I like calm people that take their time to do things.
Did you follow me till here? You deserve a clap on your back or a kiss or a bow, as you prefer.
...
One last thing: all the CSers I've hosted were really nice and adjustable and too kind: don't trust what they say about me, I can not possibly be that good, all the time. Really. You've been warned.
PHILOSOPHY
Try to be happy -the easier way seems to be: by making people around you happy too-
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosted some very nice people, being hosted by even more nice people, and a lot of interesting vis-a-vis and by email conversations!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A wonderful job-related trip in Barcelona: I've met lots of nice CS (some very special ones) in two weeks.
And also in California: so many nice people!
Wherever I've been, with CS I did not feel a stranger, not even for a single day. Wonderful.
Interests
Science, martial arts, music (I can play piano -a bit-, guitar -longer-, air guitar and air cello -no stop- :D ), open source software (don't you know about it? ask me: free crash course in 20secs). I like short poems, usually about love (I'm a cold, rational and cynical romantic).
Tell me about your religion (or lack of it); I'm basically a Pastafarian, but I'm not a strict practitioner.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books. I love them.
I like science fiction, essays on religion, social sciences and physics (I've read just 4 books, but I enjoyed them).
Oh, I was forgetting "The scaring life of the sarchiapone", published by Whateverland&Elsewhere Press.
Music: Meshuggah, Tool, Gojira, but also Dire Straits, Gianfranco Marziano, Da'namaste, Battiato, Rammstein, De André, and many many more. Yes, I know, they're not homogeneous nor comparable. So am I.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was amazed seeing my home village mountain through my first eyeglasses: so green, so detailed, so massive and clearly far. I've been seeing it for ages, and suddenly it was new for me. Sometime you travel and when you came back you re-discover your own place, because your mind is wearing new eyes.
And now I'm about to leave again!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you some basic Shotokan Karate, basic guitar playing, an introduction to Computer Networks.
And I can make you graduate in my Master course on Procastination (maybe later).
What can you teach me? I'm curious.
