PHILOSOPHY
this is to short a space to get into the details of personal philosophy. In short i believe in love, service, giving, laughter. I like simplicity, I like to limit material goods, thats why im getting rid of all my stuff and traveling around with a backpack and a guitar. Im sharing what little i know and taking in knowledge from the universe.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I started hosting because a freind of mine hosted people on several ocasions while I was at his place and they proved to be some excellent experiences. I think hospitality is a wonderful thing so i am opening my home and heart because i know of the good that comes from giving. I currently can NOT host, as i am traveling right now
I just spent 3 months in mexico and another litttle while in austin texas and new orleans. I will soon be on my way to Australia to take a permaculture course, do some wwoofing and travel around a continent ive never been to.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I made my profile shortly before leaving my home to travel so i was only able to host 2 travelers, I have stayed with friends when they had couchsurfers over and ive met many a surfer in my journeys. I just spent 3 months in mexico and surfed a number of couches but only one through couchsurfing.org.

I like lesser known quirky films, foreign films are good, films that capture a feeling, a place.
books: im just now getting into reading so i will give a short list, the alchemist, fried green tomatos, on the road, cradle to cradle, my side of the mountain.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Here is a memory of something simple and close to home that comes to mind: one year when it snowed but the roads had been cleared we left home before dawn and drove to a nearby golf course on a small mountaintop, the snow had froze to ice on the golf course and we slid down it on thin plastic mats, head first, flying down the mountain, watching the sun rise. after a couple hours we drove back in time to get everyone back to work/school slightly late.
recently I just spent 3 months in mexico which had quite a few amazing things. volcanos, beaches, mountains.
